I definitely can't stand these blue elastic luggage straps and belts !
However she's a fantastic and very inspiring boat. Have great fun with her !

Intuitively I would have bet that the gunwales wanted to move closer to each other, hence the thwarts were compressed.

Thanks Mick, that is judicious. Right : the take-down system would be less interesting if one couldn't fit one section in the other one.
