Didn't make the trip to get the plywood today, got started too late! I will get an early start in the AM.

Interesting NOTE:
I can post here with the Blackberry device, but Southern Paddler blocks me when I try to do that.

Who, me?

Just a poor little paddler, trying to keep his head above water. . . :)

It's about 05:30 now, and I'm getting ready to make my "wood run." Slight chance of rain this am, good chance of it this afternoon. I'll be leaving a little later to avoid the "morning migration" traffic south.

Can't believe I made the trip down to Clearwater (or maybe it was Largo,) and back, without getting rained on! :)

Got the plywood, and got it HOME. :D

Words cannot begin to describe just how much I HATE driving down south of where I live. The traffic is insane, as are most of the people on the road. Even on a good day, I don't like going anywhere if I don't absolutely have to, except driving to work, or hauling the boat for a day of paddling and fishing. And for both of those, I'm driving north of home, and away from the madness that is Tampa/St. Pete, and all the little places that have melted into that one, large blob of humanity.

Did I mention that I don't like driving down that way?

Anywho, I got the ply and am happy with it. After a little decompression time, I'll be spending the rest of today and most of tomorrow finishing up getting the work space ready and lofting up the parts to be cut out. Once I start the cutting, I'll be picture-taking and posting in a build thread.

Mike, I'm glad you got your wood and are back home safely.
