Well here is half a boat, that has been ironed flat :o :lol:

Everything checked out per the drawings, all that is left to do is make the mates and it will be time for some epoxy and fiberglass.

Everything is cut out....need some supplies before I can carry on....Maybe I will go fishing somewhere this weekend, but right now it's Image time.... 8) :mrgreen: :

Been doing some traveling and fishing with a man that can't sing a lick.....

But, I finally got some epoxy and fiberglass and got back on task....I spliced all the panels together...I need to build a strongback, cut out the last stringer and start assembling the hull....

There's boat parts in among the junk....

Made some more progress, strongback built, bulkheads in place, stringers in place, stitched up the bottom panel, hope to have the rest of the hull stitched up this weekend...

Last big panels have been added, next the fun begins...resin, fiberglass, filleting, sanding, sanding, sanding and some more sanding

Looks to me like you forgot the sanding step. It can take a while.

Yea sanding is a necessary evil in boat building.

I've learned, the hard way, to minimize sanding by working as neat as possible and cleaning resin up before it cures. But you still need to sand, sand, sand, sand...did I mention sanding? :roll:

The dreams of the mirror finish give way to "I just want this freakin thing done!" :P

It's an old woodworker's saying, "You can't ship it until you hate it." Usually, right when I finish something I loathe it -- I can see every misjudgment, bad joint, and poor finish detail. I can't imagine that I ever built something so defective. Again usually, six months or a year later I look at it again and think, "That's not so bad. It's a lot nicer than that factory made *thing* over there. Maybe I do know what I'm doing."

I probably need to see a psychologist.
