I have used these for some time now and they work great for epoxy work. I by no means claiming credit for this idea. I stumbled across it a few years back on someones internet site. But here is a picture of how i used them on my Pirogue.
I had some scraps of 4 inch ABS pipe left over from another project. I cut it into approximately 2 inch wide strips then split them. The wider you make them, the more pressure they will apply. They worked great for this build and allowed me to complete the project faster. I think a 10 foot pipe costs approximately $4 U.S. Thats a lot of cheap clamps .
