Buy some flat black, olive green and light brown paints. Let your imagination run wild. And have FUN!

Isn't there some company out there like Mossy Oak or something that sells a film material that can be applied?

I made my own stencils of various sizes, grass shapes and branch shapes out of cardboard cereal boxes for a plywood jon boat i built about 8 years ago. Then I put on a base coat of marsh brown and used Krylon camo paints with the stencils. It worked quite well. Well, i thought it did, I may be biased :P . Then, I got various cheap sponge type stamps of leaves from Michael's Crafts. The stamps were about 2.99 for a package of various shapes and sizes. I applied these after all the paint was on. I think I used acrylic paints I had on hand for the stamps. The boat has been stored outdoors since I built it, and surprisingly the acrylic paints have stood up to the test of constant winter rain. I can take more photos if you are interested in close ups.

The following are pictures I took last summer when it was lying upside down in the yard. The boat is in the middle of the photos if you can't see it. HA HA!

You might want to check with Cabelas in the boats section. Last time I was digging around in there they had the camo netting for boats and also the stensile and paint kits.

Craig, your jon boat is really well done - I can't see it at all in the second pic and can only just make it out in the first. I'm surprised at how much it looks like a dog

You mean like this http://cid-a04176f402c6b074.skydrive.li ... le0003.JPG.

Bob who makes the Sea Leopards said it took him quite a lot of time to get these looking right. I think they look great, so good I have bought the blue one!

No it was a simple grass pattern like 1' high and 3' long cut out on paper or plastic.
