Sasquatch 16.5 in the swamp.

Post by hairymick »

G'day guys.

My budding obsession is photography and i thought I would give Sas a try as a platform today. Its been a while since I took the big girl for a walk and the day dawned fine and clear so why not? :D After seeing my wife off to work, I headed for the bush. 8)

Put in was by the side of a bush road at Musket Flats.

and the plan was to paddle upstream through flooded, remnant rainforest

to swampy stuff

and see what sort of images I could get. Oh yeah, I took a couple of fishin rods too. 8)

After fooling round in some real skinny water for a few hours and taking lots of images, I pulled into a grassy bank on a cow paddock for a cook up and a cuppa and even more piccies of non paddling stuff. :D

A couple of macros I was able to get from the canoe.

I had forgotten just how much I love this boat and how relaxing it can be to just get away for a few hours in a very good canoe and to explore quiet, sweet, skinny water on a classic, Autumn, Sunday morning. beautiful.
Regards,
Mick

Mick....

Just like building boats from wood the photography is working for you. This is one shot I really enjoy , especially the drop of water on the bottom pedal adds to the clarity , time of day and just brings all of it together in one great picture. :D
