Thanks....(The orange and blk. kayak on the floor) people cant see it is covered in fabric till I point it out to them....So I wanted a transparent-rustic looking finish that would show off the frame from a distance out on the lake...

I coated the fabric with min wax pecan pollyshades then a couple of coats of helmsman's spar urethane....
The frame weighed 20lbs. before the 8oz.dacron polyester fabric and paint....
It weighs 27 lbs....before seat mounts and some small floor boards...

Removable seats....

Dang, 7 years ago and 20 + boats I've built... I wish I would have kept this one... Need to build another tandem....
