First time building
Have the plans for the Sabalo 12 SOT Kayak
If Butt blocking the panels together, is it suitable to use the same marine plywood ? or should solid wood be use? If solid is there a recommended thickness?
Similar question regarding the cleats that go around to support the frames. The plans mention 6mm x 6 mm? So would we just use scrap pieces of marine ply strips? Or would solid wood cut down to 6mm be better?
Thanks
