Kayak Complete!

The best part!
A completed Kayak. Looks good. Too bad there's that inflatable SUP in the way...

That 2 part Epifanes polyeurethane sure is glossy. Its 3 coats of white, followed by 1 coat clear with metallic white pearl mixed in and another clear. Topside is 3 coats of gloss.

Out enjoying it in the 1.5 sem tandem trim. I wouldn't do 2 adults, but while our daughter is small there's enough room and capacity.

Went with magnetic hatch, will add some bungee or something around this area to make it more secure. The magnets are not nearly as strong as I wanted. But I do love the grain pattern of this piece of wood

Sliding seat setup to allow us to trim the Sabalo 12 depending on if we're paddling solo or with our daughter.

Rear storage with a couple of rod holders.

The forum and community here was super helpful and I probably couldn't/wouldn't have done it with out all the helpful posts and inspiration that came before the project started!
