G'day Zeb!

paticularly for smaller people.

Even if i'm to fail...going ahead with the Laker build
I won't rush anything and take my time and get advice from you guys whenever i need them and don't see how i can fail that way anyways
I want to have Canoe too later on once i finish my first build
laker would be for selfish reasons and solo paddling cos wifey isn't that interested in that sorta stuff
Having a canoe would be cool to take the dogs out, take wifey when she's in the mood and maybe a few friends for a cool paddling session with some adult beverages
But first gotta start on me laker

Cheers to that jack
I first paddled in an endurance race sorta thing... it was a plastic sit on top...had two other team mates and it was sheer bliss paddling past other competitors
Fell in love with paddling since then but have never owned a kayak or a canoe
Very difficult to find those in my country...most boats are built for commercial fishing and anything else is either exported or custom built
I've checked a few places who do make kayaks/canoes but they have no visual appeal
crudely built too... so here i am making my first watercraft
On tandem boats... i want to have a canoe too...just for those times when you want to take someone out with you...i'm sure i'll be on the laker most of the time and that's why i wanted to start off with that although it seems to be more difficult to build...

Well, Guinnes Drafticus, you fell into a pile of dung and came out with a pair of new pants. Building on here will be a LOT easier than if you are on your own. And, you can build a bloody fleet of boats to satisfy your needs and wants.GuinnesDraught wrote:... Fell in love with paddling since then but have never owned a kayak or a canoe![]()
