I have bought plans for the Freedom 11 kayak. In your instructions, you say that a strong back is optional, and I would like to use a strong back. Unfortunately, I cannot find any instructions regarding the placement of the frames on the strong back. Can you help me, please ?

Re: strong back
You would place some "extenders" of the same length on each frame. Then secure the extenders to the strongback.
This option is for having the frames secured in a constant position while working. Not a requirement.
