Trolling Motor Bracket

Hello, this is my 1st post and I'm a proud owner of a chapman fiber pirogue. I want to add a trolling motor and does anybody have any recommendations? I've tried mounting a canoe motor mount but that is not practical.

If you want it to hang off the end, what about making a bracket that mounts onto the grab handle I see in the pictures at http://www.pirogue.com/steppic20.htm ?

It would almost be like a very narrow canoe motor mount. Heck, call Ron Chapman... I bet he'd have a suggestion and you might just give him a new product idea!
